The Newson Aluminum Stacking Chair is a sculptural masterpiece that combines a die-cast aluminum frame with a knitted mesh seat and back, creating a harmonious blend of strength and comfort. The mesh is knitted using polyester yarn for color and a soft hand, while thermoplastic elastomer provides the structural element. The chair’s distinctive reverse cantilever evokes a visual weightlessness and a remarkably simple profile, where the seat floats effortlessly, joined to the back via the legs.
