Project Overview
Adobe undertook a refresh of 3 floors in their Sydney office to re-engage staff and welcome them back from a work-from-home period.
The project involved a collaborative effort between Adobe, the design team at Gensler, the project management team at Cushman & Wakefield, and the construction team at Schiavello Construction.
The project presented some challenges, including determining what existing furniture and furnishings could be retained, what needed to be disposed of, and what new items needed to be procured. The team worked closely together to navigate these challenges, coordinating with various vendors to ensure the timely delivery of new furniture and fittings.
Adobe's Modern Office Design & Solutions
The products chosen were designed to support various work modes, from focused individual work to team-based collaboration. Ergonomic, height adjustable workstations were paired with comfortable lounge seating and meeting spaces to foster a balance between productivity and relaxation.
Soundproof pods were incorporated to provide employees with private spaces for confidential conversations or focused work, while communal tables and agile walls encouraged spontaneous interactions and knowledge-sharing.
By combining these elements, the WorkArena team was able to deliver a comprehensive solution that not only addressed Adobe’s practical needs but also aligned with their broader vision for the refresh project – to re-engage staff and create a welcoming, inspiring workspace that would help drive their business forward.
A successful implementation
The highlight of the project was the successful synchronisation between all the collaborators. Despite some challenges, the team worked together effectively to overcome obstacles and deliver a finished product that met Adobe’s requirements and budget. The final result was a refreshed and engaging workspace that welcomed employees back to the workplace and helped re-energise the office environment.
Overall, the Adobe Sydney Refresh project was a testament to the power of effective collaboration and a focus on delivering a successful outcome for the client.
