Modern Office Design & Fitout Project
WorkArena’s team collaborated closely with the Project Management team at Salesforce for 3 years, starting in 2020. Our aim was to ensure that WorkArena met Salesforce‘s high standards and design expectations for FF&E procurement worldwide.
The project was fascinating due to its inclusion of a wide range of products, from modern furniture to colourful furnishings, ergonomic workstations, and task seating. The integration of different textures, colours, and materials created a dynamic workplace that both adheres to Salesforce‘s theme and caters to the needs of their large, diverse team. The selected products for this project were sourced from Australia and various parts of the world. Among them were indigenous producers who draw inspiration from the country‘s natural landscape, reflected in their work.
Project Overview
Starting in April 2022 and completing in March 2023, this project was the largest ever taken on by WorkArena with SFDC as a partner for delivery and installation. A variety of Herman Miller Remastered Aeron Chairs, Ratio Sit-to-Stand workstations, meeting room chairs, and collaborative furniture, known for their ergonomic design and sustainable materials, were provided by WorkArena.
Despite challenges, effective communication with Salesforce’s leadership team and the team’s years of experience and dedication ensured successful completion of the project. It was a privilege to be a part of this significant undertaking with a great success.
The implementation process
Our Team and the Salesforce Design Team carefully selected practical and harmonious products for the large-scale Salesforce Tower Sydney project in Sydney. The furniture included contemporary pieces, bright colours and materials, Herman Miller task seating, Ratio workstations and Framery soundproof units. We also incorporated custom pillows, local artwork, branded mugs, and picture frames to complete the design. Each item was carefully chosen to bring vibrancy and reflect the vision of the Salesforce team. One of the highlights of the project was the custom Chef table designed by Manapan, which represents the journey between San Francisco and Sydney. This special table was made by the local Yolngu people from the Northern Territory.
This unique table combines modern design with traditional techniques and represents the traditional skills of the Yolngu people. We are proud to partner with Manapan to provide high-quality furniture that tells a story and aligns with Salesforce’s values.
